About
My story
Hi, I'm Lindsay, a Personal Stylist in rural Bedfordshire
My style journey began in 2015, not long after I had my second son. I had fully embraced my role of a wife and mother and in doing so, I realised that I’d lost ‘me’ in the process. My wardrobe of dreary coloured clothes reflected exactly how I felt; a lack of confidence and the feeling of never having enough time for myself.
I had heard of people ‘getting their colours done’ and the transformational results which sounded the perfect way to spend time on myself and discover a simple, yet effective way to boost my confidence and get back my lost identity.
During my own colour analysis session, as the stylist swapped various coloured drapes under my chin, I couldn’t believe the impact of the different colours; the transformation really was incredible! I made myself two promises that day; the first being that I would never wear clothes that did nothing for me again and secondly, that I would help other women like myself have the same, enlightening experience.
I waved goodbye to my long-standing career within education and qualified as a Personal Stylist with Colour Me Beautiful; the UK’s leading authority in Colour and Style. I continue with my professional development as a Stylist by attending their advanced training and seasonal trend updates in London twice a year to ensure I am always at the top of my game.
I frequently receive lovely feedback from clients that I radiate the passion I have for my job, which is really lovely to hear. Having been in the same position, I know first hand the exciting and transformational impact that my services provide.
